Billerica, MA, January 29, 2010 – Orbograph, a leading developer of recognition solutions for the U.S. check processing and business process outsourcing markets, announced today that Donald Samuels has joined the company as Senior Sales and Business Development Executive.
Samuels brings to Orbograph over 29 years of experience in the banking industry, excelling professionally within the areas of banking operations, payments technology, and financial IT markets. Originally starting at Trustmark National Bank, followed by tenure at Barnett Bank, he managed the entire back-office operation processes for multi-location centers. This experience led to a transition into sales with Check Solutions, (which was subsequently acquired by Carreker Corporation,) where he served successfully over a 13 year period as Business Unit Manager for Corporate and Retail Solutions as well as National Sales Manager. In 2003, Samuels joined Software Earnings, Inc. as Vice President of Sales to spearhead their sales initiatives to large financial institutions and IBM/CPCS markets.
With Orbograph, Samuels will be chartered with driving sales and business development initiatives via channel partner cultivation and direct marketing activities to large financial institutions. He will also be responsible for further expanding Orbograph’s Automation Services, fraud prevention strategy, and data mining for marketing efforts.
