Image Integrity - Automation Services

To insure check images are compliant with industry security requirements, you can depend on Orbograph’s Image Integrity within Automation Services. Image Integrity is a critical component to reducing risk and insuring compliance in POD, inclearing and RDC processing.

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Act Sect. 6801 requires financial institutions to implement safeguards to insure security and confidentiality of customer records so customer data is protected. Image Integrity Services reads the MICR line on the check image via Orbograph OCR recognition software and compares it to the image index within X9.37, X9.100.187, or image capture platform files. Using proprietary matching and voting algorithms, Image Integrity Services identifies specific images which mismatch the index. These images are then displayed to adjustments and return item processing.

Orbograph’s Check Image Integrity and IQUA solutions are in place today in many of the top 25 U.S. financial institutions as well as in a wide range of community banks. The Image Integrity module can now be utilized as a stand-alone service or in conjunction with IQUA as a low cost validation option either on-site or hosted remotely.

“There are still a surprising number of images which do not comply with GLB, and we take our commitment seriously in finding these images. Image Integrity Services is about finding the needles in the haystack with minimal suspect rates.”
