On Second Thought…. Checks – We Love 'Em!

Earlier this week we linked to a story that rather unequivocally called for the elimination of checks 
(“Kill the Check!” Says electronic payment advocate…”).

In the interest of equal time, here’s a pretty fantastic visual prepared by First Data that tells the other side of the story: Checks? We love em!

Of particular note to our space: Checks have gone virtually 100% electronic, so even paper transactions end up digitized  by the consumer (via a handy iPhone/Android app), a bank kiosk, or onsite branch scanners.
